You referred to Camp Mooselake or something , and then Lk. Winnepesaukee, and then finally a pond (a big pond). But beyond that, I read about your learning experiences with more than a little interest. My wife swims (and I really love the way it makes her body feel), and she has really benefitted from it. I haven't swum since the day when I was a lifeguard and a WSI, teaching lessons to very young kids, whose parents were desperate to waterproof them so they could hang out with their friends instead of watching their kids. I don't swim (though my doctor says it is the most beneficial of all exercises, and I live in Florida, and I belong to places with pools, and I live on a lake) because it is hard. But your piece has me thinking.

Highly recommended! I’d love to swim in a lake

Come on down! Even got a room for you.

Good piece! I never made the effort to improve my swimming, and swimming any distance was always very hard. Like you, though, it stopped being hard for me. I quit swimming.

Haha. You’ve got that going for you.

I noticed nothing unusual about the first two sentences.

You get an A! I loved how perfectly it fit.

Oh sorry. Misread your comment. Here’s a hint: “Robert Cohn was once the middleweight boxing champion of Princeton. Do not think I am much impressed with that as a boxing title, but it meant a lot to Cohn.’
